Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Benefits Manager for our Government Client based in the Brisbane region. This is a 3 month contract with a great hourly rate working 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

The Benefits Manager will facilitate a series of workshops to define and measure benefits for the Hospital and Health Services and Pathology Queensland. The benefits will require commitments from the participants to deliver and sign off as part of the business case development.

This role will require significant expertise in the ability to define, measure and monitor benefits realization. The manager will deliver high quality analytic skills to measure and articulate benefits that will deliver financial, economic and social outcomes to the Hospital and Health Services and Pathology Queensland.
 

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to determine benefits realisation plans.
  • Understanding the current state of the impacted area. Identifying benefits of a replacement system, assigning a category to the benefit, develop the measurement criteria and determine the current state.
  • Work with the Business Analyst, Change and Communication Manager to quantify the potential benefits and assist the stakeholders in the articulation of the desired future state, conveying the vision clearly to all stakeholders and identifying the change effort deliver the new state benefits.
  • Developing strategies and benefits plans to maintain the stability of service delivery during transition phases.
  • Lead and manage a benefits realisation effort through the benefits champions in key areas to assist in sustainability of the future state.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Work independently with users to define concepts under the direction of the project manager.
  • Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the other key project elements such as architects, testers and vendor to assess change.
  • Develop benefits plans according to standard templates, using natural language.
  • Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Tertiary qualification is highly recommended.
  • A qualification in benefits/change management is essential.
  • At least five years’ experience in a benefits management role.
  • Background or understanding of the health industry is highly recommended.
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Be able to pass a drug & alcohol test
  • Criminal History Check
