Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy with one of our national clients for a newly developed role as a Care Manager.

Reporting through to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for managing the safe delivery of holistic quality care for residents, support and lead staff in the matters of clinical care, resident management, continual training and mentoring staff within your portfolio.
You will also be a support for management at the facility level and ensure accreditation standards and Occupational Health & Safety requirements are adhered to.
To be successful in this position you will have the following:
Be a Registered Nurse with extensive experience as post graduate with AHPRA
Permanent Australian Residency or Citizenship
Sound knowledge of business management in an aged care environment
Have a desire to bring your knowledge to the team through staff development programs
Have a thorough understanding and experience working with the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
Have a passion for working in aged care.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a leadership role, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be committed to continuous quality improvement.
