Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy with one of our major clients for a Clinical Manager in the Brisbane area.

This management role allows you to have weekends off to enjoy life with family and friends; however, there is a requirement to be available on call on a scheduled basis.

You will be reporting to the Facility Manager and the primary purpose of this role is to lead and enhance a large and diverse clinical care team and ensure the standards of excellence.

 You must be able to work in a fast paced environment, in addition to possessing a Broad Clinical Expertise, Specialist Knowledge and be an outstanding communicator.

To be eligible, you must be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration.

To be successful you must have:

  • Aged Care Management Experience
  • Staff Training, Management and HR skills and experience
  • Familiar with ACFI processes
  • Extensive Experience of Quality Agency Standards accreditation process
  • Ability to use computers and technology efficiently

Qualification required:                                         

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
  • Certificate IV Training (desirable)

The position

As the Clinical Manager you will anticipate and deliver a high quality level of care and support services to meet the residents’ needs. You will provide leadership and training to your team, attend management meetings and pass on new innovative procedures to ensure that residents are receiving the highest possible care.

You will work closely with the HR team to ensure your team are meeting their competencies and performance standards. You are responsible for all nursing decisions and actions; you are a role model and mentor to the team with your exceptional clinical expertise in the nursing care of the aged people.

This position will see you being responsible for the monitoring and ensuring residents care documentations are kept up to date, ensuring that care planning and evaluations are completed as per company policy. You will have a skill at identifying opportunities to maximise ACFI funding as the residents’ needs change.
