Recruitment 24/7 has a position for a suitably qualified Diesel Fitter with a large Ipswich-based client. The role involves working on large earthmoving equipment. Work will be based at the depot with some outreach work at different sites surrounding Ipswich.
This is an ongoing casual role working Monday to Friday; for the right person there may be the option for a full time role after an initial qualifying period. The casual pay rate is $35.00 per hour plus penalties.
To be considered for this position you must hold your Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Construction White Card, a minimum of a manual driver’s licence, and will have extensive experience in the following:
Road Trucks
Earth Moving Equipment
In addition we are looking for:
Experience working on old machinery
Previous experience doing break down work
Ability to work unsupervised
Recent experience in a similar role
Living local to Ipswich
Recent references from a similar role
White Card
Trade Qualifications as Diesel Mechanic / Fitter
It would be beneficial if you hold a HR Truck licence and an LF Forklift Licence but is not essential.
You will need to have your own basic tools.
