Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy with one of our national clients for a Diversional Therapist on the Gold Coast.

The role:
Reporting through to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating social, psychological, recreational, cultural and spiritual well being for our residents. You will achieve this by consulting with residents, families, staff and the management team when developing activity programs.
To be successful in this position you will have the following:
Relevant Leisure and Lifestyle tertiary qualifications at a Certificate IV level or higher
Previous experience leading teams
Sound knowledge of ACFI
Experience in completing care plans, entering progress notes and attendance records
Residential aged care and or experience working with clients with dementia essential.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be committed to continuous quality improvement.
