Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy for a Junior Administration Assistant position to work in our office at Ipswich.  (Please note that Junior wages apply)

This is an ongoing part time casual position starting ASAP. This position will start off at 2 to 3 days a week. Additional days may become available depending on our needs. You will report directly to the Office Manager. You will need to be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

It is essential that the successful applicant must be computer literate and be confident with Outlook, Word, Excel Spread Sheets and Data Entry. You will have a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute. You will have a high attention to detail and deliver accurate work. A strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills are required as you must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. You will possess a confident & pleasant manner both on the phone and in person. You will be well presented, and also have a pro-active and professional approach to your work. 

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering calls and handling queries  
  • Booking meetings
  • Writing reports, executive summaries and newsletters
  • Updating our internal recruitment data base
  • Preparing papers for meetings
  • Managing and reviewing filing and office systems
  • Typing documents
  • Data entry
  • General administration duties

A current Drivers Licence and your own transport would be a major advantage, however not entirely necessary as long as you can get to work.

The above position offers a wide and diverse range of duties that is performed on a day to day basis, ensuring that there is no chance that you would get bored while at work.

This is an entry level position. This position would suit a recent school leaver. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant, however you must be motivated, keen, enthusiastic and have a bright and outgoing personality and not be scared to speak on the phone.
