Recruitment 24/7 is looking for Expressions of Interest for experienced and licenced HR Truck Drivers based in the Townsville region.
The position will be working for a company based in Brisbane working full time hours as a temporary contractor through Recruitment 24/7, with the view to be offered a full time or contractor position after the initial 3 month probation.
This position is not for the weak hearted, the person we are looking for holds a HR Licence and has experience driving a rigid truck however you are also responsible for hand loading and unloading heavy awkward stock. You must be prepared to work between 10 – 12 hour days.
The successful candidate will need to be physically very fit and able to load and unload the truck by hand with heavy goods by themselves.
You must be able to work autonomously in a very physical role with over 5 years Truck Driving is preferred (due to insurance regulations).
This position involves driving all over North Qld on a daily basis.
MUST HAVES
HR Licence
5 years + experience driving Heavy Ridged Truck (preferred)
Be physically able to do Labour Intensive work all day
Have a clean 5 year driving history and provide proof from QLD Transport
Good references from previous truck driving work
To be considered for this position you must have a HR Licence, be physically fit and prepared to put in a hard day’s work, 5-6 days a week.
