Recruitment 24/7 is accepting applications from Experienced Civil Construction Workers for upcoming work in May 2015. Work is scattered all over Brisbane and Ipswich and we are looking for EXPERIENCED Civil Construction Workers, Asphalt Workers and Labourers.

                         

We are looking for people with experience in the following areas:



 

  • Backhoe
  • Excavator
  • Grader (final trim)
  • Dozer
  • Roller
  • Scraper
  • Level Hands
  • Paver Operators



 

Tickets and Licences will need to be sighted as well as General Safety Induction (Blue Card). Plus you will need to provide all your own PPE for assignments.

To be considered for this role you MUST have:-

  • Extensive experience in the Civil Industry
  • Understanding of relevant legislation for Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Sound knowledge of effective problem solving skills including the ability to develop solutions and implement continuous improvement.
  • Be a pro-active team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Be able to provide all documentation in regards to qualifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual & legal obligations
  • Quality Assurance and OH&S requirements
  • Strong decision making ability  
  •  A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a dedicated approach to work and the ability to communicate on all levels.  
  • Hold safety as a personal core value  
  • Must be able to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening and have a strong focus on workplace safety.
  • Candidates must be self-starters with a positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to work both within a team and without supervision.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence
  • Highly motivated and results orientated.
