Recruitment 24/7 has multiple vacancies available for Experienced Rig Mangers | Toolpushers working with one of our clients based in QLD. These positions require you to be available for onshore work in the oil and gas industry. These are permanent positions with a roster of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off and an exceptional salary. We encourage applications from candidates on a national basis who are prepared to perform FIFO work.
 
Our client is an international company which has ongoing long term contracts! Do you have experience in Workover/Completion rigs? Have you worked for bigger rigs? Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
  • Keeping the superintendent updated on operations
  • Expected to train and assess crew members
  • New state of the art drilling rigs and equipment
  • Committed to HSE and continuous development of employees
  • High energy and focus – the ability to motivate and get the best out of a drilling crew
The successful candidate must have:
  • Diploma in Drilling – RII50809 – Must be Onshore Oil & Gas
  • Previous experience on a land rig in Australia is essential
  • Current IWCF – Supervisory Level
  • Experience of directing the entire operations of a drilling rig and crew is also essential
  • Strong experience in Oil & Gas onshore drilling
  • Good communication skills and positive attitude
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Proven drilling skills
  • Previous Cyber Chair experience is highly desirable
  • Current Well control Certificate (IWCF)
  • Cert III Drilling (onshore)
  • Previous experience on Oil & Gas projects (Not Mineral) in the same role is a must
  • Physical strength and stamina to withstand rough weather conditions
  • Working at heights certificate
  • Breathing Apparatus training
  • First Aid/CPR training and certificate
  • Confined Space certificate
  • Current permit to work (essential)
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test
