Facility Manager – Gold Coast

Recruitment 24/7 has an opportunity with one of their major clients for an experienced Facility Manager (Aged Care) on the Gold Coast.

The current Facility Manager is ready for retirement, so we expect it to be a smooth transition for the new manager to take over. You will be responsible for the operation of the 86 bed, extra services facility to high standards, as our clients (the residents and their families) expect.  You will establish a cohesive facility staffing structure.

Reporting to the head office based Operations Manager (Aged Care), you will be responsible for management of physical resources, maximisation of revenue, adherence to accreditation standards and delivery of care and administration.  You will have previous experience managing work teams in an operations environment and be accustomed to aligning employees behind common goals.

The following criteria must be met:

  • Experience as a Facility Manager of an Aged Care Facility
  • Experience in the contribution to achieving financial budgets and performance benchmarks
  • Experience in maximising productivity and the use of human resources
  • Experience in the implementation of procedures and standards in a service environment
  • A caring and empathetic personality with a focus on delivering a holistic approach towards Aged Care
  • Intermediate Computer skills including MS Office
  • Excellent management and communication skills
