Recruitment 24/7 has a position with a busy Arborist Team based in Southport, Gold Coast for an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Ground Crew / Tree Lopper / Arborist.
Our client is well established on the Gold Coast with some major contracts, so work is only getting busier. This position is very physically demanding, so the successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and by physically fit and strong, while being punctual, reliable and responsible.
It is a requirement of the position that you hold a minimum of MR Licence, chainsaw ticket and white card (construction card)
Duties for the work may include:
Working within the Tree Team
Providing support to the climbers
Lifting and moving tree branches
Feeding the wood chipper
To be considered for this work you will have:
Chainsaw ticket, Level 2 – MUST HAVE
White Card (WorkCover General Construction Induction)
Labouring experience, in the industry is preferred
Knowledge of wood chipper operations (preferred)
MR or above Licence
Arborist qualification or Rigging, Roping or tree pruning experience advantageous
Enthusiasm and physical fitness
