Recruitment 24/7 is looking for an Experienced HC/MC Truck Driver for container work out of the Port of Brisbane, doing local work around Brisbane. Our client is based in Wacol and requires you to hold a valid MSIC card and Dangerous Good Licence.
Work is Monday to Friday with some Saturdays starting out as a casual with the view that after a qualifying period the right candidate may be offered a permanent role.
Must Haves:
Current HC or MC licence
Dangerous Goods Licence
MSIC Card
Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Clean Driving History (You will be required to provide a 5 year printout)
This position includes local pick-ups and deliveries in the Brisbane area, with palletised and some container work. You may be required to load and unload your truck. A forklift licence would be advantageous. The position involves maintaining appropriate documentation such as delivery records, truck mileage logs and daily prestart checks.
You will also need to provide a current and up to date resume showing a stable work history and previous experience working safely and efficiently in a team environment. You must be fit and healthy (may be required to undergo a medical assessment).
