Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for an experienced Machine Operator / Store Person with our client based in Crestmead. Our client is a SME specialising in plastic manufacturing that has had exceptional growth over recent years which has lead to the recent opening of a second factory in Crestmead.
The position will begin as Full Time Casual at award wages plus penalties, however after a qualifying probationary period you will be offered a Permanent role direct with our client. The client offers great hours 07.00 – 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 07.00 – 12.00 on Friday. Award wages are paid however an additional attendance bonus is paid as a full time permanent employee.
The Position
Operation of manufacturing machinery
Use hand tools including a jigsaw and plastic welder
Forklift Operation including loading and unloading trucks
Some Computer work; spread sheeting
Following relevant operating procedures and safe systems of work
To be considered for the role you MUST HAVE:
Hold a valid forklift licence
Warehouse experience
Experience in machine operation
Experience of using hand-tools
Experience in operating large production machinery would be advantageous
It would be preferred if you also hold a factory crane licence, scissor lift ticket and confined spaces ticket as you will be required to work in some small spaces and at some heights up to 2 meters.
