Recruitment 24/7 is looking for an Experienced MC Driver of A Doubles for an afternoon shift for their client based in Toowoomba.

About YOU

You will have held your MC licence for over 5 years and have experience driving A Doubles / Road Trains and containers. You have a clean driving history and are a careful driver who looks after the equipment. You are available immediately, and are looking for part time work averaging 35 hours a week.

The ROLE

This position is Monday to Friday on afternoon shift, starting around 4pm and working 6+ hours each night, 5 nights a week. You will be driving A Doubles / Road Trains down the range to the Port of Brisbane and back. Hourly rate is paid as per the award and overtime rates apply if you exceed 7.6 hours in a day.

To be considered for the Truck Driving positions you must have:

  • MC Licence
  • LF Licence – preferred but not a requirement
  • B Double, A Double and Road Train experience
  • Must be able to supply or obtain a Truck Safe Medical Certificate
  • A Traffic History Printout– Last 5 years
  • Stable recent work history
  • Fit and healthy for work
  • Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
