Recruitment 24/7 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self motivated Operations Manager with one of our clients located in the South Brisbane area.
This is a full Time permanent position to start ASAP. The successful applicant will be directly responsible for the companies Safety, Operational and Environmental management, Business Development, Quality Management, Cultural Heritage and Technical and resource planning of the businesses field activities.
The position of an Operations Manager plays a crucial role within my clients business. As a result of this, the successful applicant must be able to efficiently manage and communicate effectively in multiple activities with all site personnel, subcontractors, consultants, clients, resources and authorities.
You must have strong communication and people skills and be able to present yourself as a team leader who is willing to try new ideas and participate in changes in the workplace.
You are required to deliver quality service in a timely manner and be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
To be considered for this position you must have the following experience and qualifications:
Tertiary and equivalent qualifications in management of major civil construction projects
10 years minimum experience in a similar position
Current drivers licence and own transport
Proficient in MS Word, authority tickets for sewer and water works
Have a Understanding of construction methods
Water and Gas Pipes
Sub division work in various locations throughout Brisbane
Permanent Australian Visa or Australian citizenship required.
