Recruitment 24/7 is currently seeking outside school hours care Educators for our client based in Ipswich.   
 
We are currently seeking to employ vibrant and professional, experienced Qualified Educators, and Additional needs educators to start ASAP for casual positions with the view that the position will go to full time dependant on performance.  
 
The successful applicant must be prepared to start at 6am and finish at 6pm dependant on the type of shift you will be working. A 20% discount will be offered on the gap for those who apply who have grandchildren or school aged children.

This is a crucial role and as a result it is essential that you have the following skills and previous experience:
  • Ability to assist with planning and implementing quality programs to meet the developmental needs of the children in accordance to the “My time Our Place Framework”
  • Knowledge and ability to meet regulations and the National Quality Standard
  • Ability to follow service policies and procedures and to contribute to their review and development
  • The proven ability to communicate with and build strong relationships with children, staff, parents and the community
  • Both a team leader and team player that can get along with all types of people, is enthusiastic, committed, professional and fun.
  • Basic Administration Skills including computer literacy
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Ideally has experience with quick kids software
The successful candidate must have the following requirements:
  • Diploma in Out of School Hours Care
  • Diploma in Children’s Services
  • 1 or more years experience working with School Aged Children in an Outside School hours Care Setting
  • Accredited Child Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Certified Supervisor Certificate or ability to meet requirements (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First  Aid Certificate including Anaphylaxis Asthma Management (or willing to obtain)
  • Must have a working with children clearance
