Recruitment 24/7 is currently seeking the services of a Purchasing, Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor for one of our clients in the Brisbane area. For the successful applicant (Depending on experience and skills) on offer is a base salary of around $87,000 plus super.

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with operations, maintenance and accounting teams. The focus of this position is to manage inventory, together with purchase, supply and logistics support for the operations of a diverse range of products and equipment used in Oil and Gas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process purchase orders/documents in accordance with company procedures
• Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including reconciliation of stock take and investigation of missing stock
• Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products to service current and upcoming projects
• Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Provide other administrative support on an ad hoc basis

You will have:
• Previous experience and a proven track record in purchasing and inventory management
• Previous working knowledge of PRONTO
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
• Knowledge of suppliers and manufacturers
• Able to work as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise & meet deadlines
• Clear & effective communication
• Good understanding of transport and logistics procedures
