Part Time HR Truck Driver

Recruitment 24/7 has an opportunity with one of our clients in the Rocklea area for an experienced HR Truck Driver. There is no interstate driving as it is local work on Brisbane Northside.

This is a part time position working 2 days a week, possibly 3 when required. This position is expected to last for the next 4 months with the possibility of being extended.

The successful applicant will be available EVERY Tuesday and Thursday for the next 4 months. You will have extensive local knowledge if Brisbane’s Northern suburbs. You will have experience with multidrop and multi pickups, dealing with palletised freight. You will also have knowledge of how to load and unload a truck correctly with regards to even weight distribution and balancing out the loads. It is a requirement that you have the knowledge and ability to properly secure a load using straps and ropes. It would be highly beneficial if you had a forklift licence.

To be considered for this position you must provide:

• A copy of your current HR licence
• 2+ yrs. General freight experience is required
• Previous Multi Drop/ Multi Pick Up experience a MUST
• Can understand Dockets and Addresses
• Good knowledge of Brisbane’s Northside
• A demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently within a team
• Stable recent work history
• Fit and healthy for work
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test  
• Clean driving history (Candidates are required to provide a 5 year print out from the Department of Transport)
• Be available Monday
