Recruitment 24/7 is looking for experienced Precast Concrete Factory Labourers for our client based in Salisbury.
To be considered for the position you MUST be physically fit, keen, motivated and prepared to put in a hard day’s work for 8 to 12 hours a day. The working hours are between Monday to Friday from 4am to 6pm, with staggering start times.
This role involves frequent kneeling, bending and lifting of heavy materials. Previous experience with Concrete, Precast Concrete or Steel Fixing is a MUST. In addition, we are looking for experience working in a factory environment with a lot of manual labour.
Your physical strength and stamina must be of a high level to be successful in this role.
Tasks involved in the job:
Pouring concrete
Steel Fixing
Labouring
Cleaning
Set up of the forms
Use of hand tools including Trowels, Screeds & Tele trowel machines
Occasional forklift driving (having a forklift licence will be advantageous)
All applicants must have appropriate PPE such as:
Work shorts
High visibility shirt or vest
Hard hat
Must have lace up steel capped boots
All applicants must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test before commencement of work, and must have their own transport (Drivers Licence and Car / Motor Bike).
