Recruitment 24/7 has 2x Production Operator positions with a Labelling and Packaging company based on Brisbane’s South Side.

You would be working for a global leader at their site in Archerfield with the view to move with the company to the new site at Browns Plains by September 2016. This will be the company’s largest site in Australia, and will be a great opportunity to start with the company and possibly progress into a higher role.

You must be flexible, as shift work is required including 6am – 2pm day shift and 2pm – 10pm afternoon shift. This will change with the move to the new site, as there will be a night shift added.

The position will include the operation of plant, equipment and machinery including the forklift. Dispatch, receiving, picking and packing and general warehouse duties, stocktake and the use of inventory programs.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • Forklift Licence & Experience
  • Previous Machine Operation Experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
  • Mechanically minded (you will be tested)
  • Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Intermediate Computer skills including MS Excel (databases)
  • Be flexible and able to work any shift
