As a result of this we currently have a vacancy for an Experienced Project Manager who enjoys taking a hands on approach to manage their projects.
This is a contract fixed term role with the view that a permanent fulltime position may be offered to the right person. So if you are after job security in this current economic climate then this position may be just what you have been looking for.
This role will have you managing key stages of the project from the start to the finish, ensuring the completion on time and budget as well achieving business objectives. You will be mobilising contracts, setting up programs, offices, coordinating staff, scheduling activities as well as controlling budgets to name a few of your duties.
Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, professionalism and good communication skills are essential in order for you to make the role a success.Ideally you will be based in North Queensland (or prepared to relocate permanently)

To be considered for this position applicants will be expected to have:
Experience as a Project Manager
Previous experience mobilising administering contracts from start to finish
Strong grasp of project financials
Coordinate a team of professionals and liaise with all project stakeholders
Good track record with regards to safety and the environment
Well developed programming and sequencing skills
Proven experience in a similar role in a head/top tier contractors
Good communication skills
It is essential that you have a current drivers licence and be able to pass a drug test before commencement of employment as well as throughout your employment with our client.
