Recruitment 24/7 has a vacancy for a Project Manager for our Government Client based in the Brisbane CBD. This is a 3 month contract with a great hourly working Monday to Friday.
The Project Manager will oversee and manage the delivery of this large scale, complex organisation-wide business change management project by ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced health service delivery. It should be noted that this is a non-ICT focussed project.
Key Responsibilities include :
Oversee and manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex program and projects
Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered
Oversee and manage the monitoring, controlling and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans, deliverables and schedules
Manage project resources, expenses and capital costs against the project forecasts
Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the department
Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multidisciplinary project teams
Experience is required in the following areas
Project change management skills
Leading & managing teams undertaking complex large-scale organisation-wide change management projects with challenging change agendas
Previous government experience
SAP Payroll operating system
To be successful in the role you must have
Australian citizenship
Extensive experience in a Project Manager role
Be available to start on Monday 16th March 2015
Current Driver’s Licence
Be able to pass a drug & alcohol test
Criminal History Check
Permanent Australian Visa or Australian citizenship required.
