Registered Nurse

Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy for a Registered Nurse with one of our large national clients for the Brisbane area.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a coordinated team
• Ability to prepare reports within short time-frames.
• Demonstrated ability to embrace the philosophy of resident care that promotes dignity, independence and advocacy.
• Efficient with use of computers and software, i.e. Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation standards and ACFI processes.

• Have permanent Australian residency or citizenship
• Are able to work independently and as a member of a team

In addition the ideal candidate will also have:

• Post-basic qualifications in gerontology nursing
• Experience in working in residential aged care, and/or any other health care service.
• Experience in working all shifts.
