Recruitment 24/7 currently has 2 vacancies for the Role of Registered Nurse with one of our local clients for the Ipswich area working in a Nursing Home to start immediately.

As a Registered Nurse you will report directly to the Care Co-ordinator and will be responsible for the day to day care of residents of the facility in a manner that is resident centered.
Duties included (but not limited to):
Involvement in care plans for each resident, evaluate and review as required.
Involvement in establishment and modification of a continuing schedule of residents’ spiritual, physical, social and mental activities
Maintain compliance with Accreditation Standards
Maintain Documentation required for ACFI
Observe, document and report matters of each resident when required to the Care Coordinator
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Current Registered Nurse with APHRA
Current CPR Certificate
Current Police Certificate
Efficient with use of computers and software, i.e. Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a coordinated team
Demonstrates an understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation standards and ACFI processes.
Committed to providing excellent customer service, written, phone and face to face.
Outstanding communication skills, being able to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
Have permanent Australian residency or citizenship
In addition, the ideal candidate will also have:
Experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care
Over 2 years post registration experience
Experience in working all shifts.
