Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy available for a Sales Representative. The position on offer is based in Sydney and will be a permanent fulltime role with a starting salary of $50,000 – $60,000 plus Super, bonuses, car allowance or small car, phone and laptop.
The ideal applicant will have had experience or exposure dealing within the mining or related industries as well as being able to talk the talk as this will be crucial to your success in this role.
Our client is a strong leader in their industry who has been supplying quality products and services for the past 50+ years across 63 countries. They are looking for someone who is sales driven with a friendly, positive attitude to come on board.
You must have a high attention to detail and deliver accurate work. A strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills are required as you must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
You must also possess a confident, pleasant manner and have a pro-active and professional approach to your work as well as being committed to meeting deadlines.
You are required to deliver quality service and be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
The ideal applicant must meet most of the following criteria:
Key Account Management skills within the mining or commercial industry
Sound knowledge of air compressors and related products
Excellent negotiating skills and ability to `close the deal’
Excellent business organisational development skills
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email and over the phone
Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel
Strong organisational skills to prioritise and schedule your workload
A mature, hands-on and self-motivated work ethic
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions
Have a burning desire to succeed within a rapidly growing company
A full drivers licence and good driving record
The ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
It is essential that you have a current drivers licence and be able to pass a drug test before commencement of employment as well as randomly throughout your employment with our client.
