Recruitment 24/7 has currently has a vacancy for a Security Analyst for our Government Client based in the Brisbane CBD. This is a 6 month contract with a great hourly pay rate.
Key Responsibilities include:
The Security Analyst shall perform tasks as directed by the Team Leader within an agreed timeframe.
The Security Analyst shall involve Departmental personnel in the development and completion of tasks and shall where possible, expose these Departmental personnel to skills transfer.
Timesheets recording the time the Security Analyst has worked need to be maintained daily. A completed timesheet is to be provided to the Team Leader on a weekly basis.
The Security Analyst will report to the Team Leader, Security Management.
The Security Analyst shall ensure that deliverables are prioritised and completed within the specified timeframes.
The Security Analyst shall Ensure Compliance with ITP Technical Architecture along with Compliance with ITP Change Management process.
Qualifications and skills required:
It is essential that the successful candidate must have experience in and knowledge of the following:
• Secure remote access;
• Firewalls, proxy servers and web servers;
• External access environments;
• Web-based security;
• Network security and encryption;
• Technical projects;
• ISO 27000;
• Security Risk & Compliance.
It is desirable that the successful candidate has experience in and knowledge of the following:
• Technical report writing;
• Presentation skills;
• ITIL framework;
• Advanced knowledge of the application of security principles to ICT systems and services
This role will require you to have the following:
The Security Analyst shall have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Information Technology industry consistent with the category and level of competency specified.
The Contractor must have demonstrated experience providing security analyst services for large corporate systems.
The successful contractor should be a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented person with good interpersonal skills.
It is essential that you have a current driver’s licence, be able to pass a drug test and also a Police check before commencement of employment. The start date is ASAP.
Permanent Australian Visa or Australian citizenship required.
