Server Technician

Recruitment 24/7 has an exciting opportunity for a qualified computer technician. This role is for an experienced Server Technician for our client in Holland Park. This is a temporary role to cover a permanent staff member taking leave. This position is for an immediate start and is expected to last 3 to 4 weeks working Monday to Friday.  The pay rate for this position is $27.95 per hour.

The Position

Working in a small team you will be responsible for the installing, maintaining and troubleshooting of server systems. You must have proven server capabilities and proven experience managing servers effectively. You will also need to know your way around Microsoft Server Software.

You must have previous experience and aptitude in:

• Programming
• System configuration
• Integrating systems with existing networks
• System maintenance

Software Experience Required:

• Previous experience with VMware
• Previous experience with SBS  
• Previous experience with Microsoft Exchange
• Previous experience with 3CX VoIP systems

The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a similar role in Australia. You will work well in a small team and be flexible.  You will be expected to work both on site and off site under minimal supervision.

You will need to have a car and licence and be available to travel to Ipswich to attend an interview immediately.
