Recruitment 24/7 has currently has a vacancy for a Software Developer ( Specialist ) for our Qld Government Client based in the Brisbane CBD. This is a 6 month contract with a great hourly pay rate.

The primary role for the Software Developer ( Specialist ) will involve re-development and enhancement of a number of IBM Lotus Notes/Domino client-based applications for the Safety & Health portfolio in the Department of Natural Resources and Mines.
 

It is Essential that you meet the below requirements:
 

  • Proven experience in enterprise application development in Notes
     
  • Minimum 5 years’ development experience in Notes to 8.5.3 (9.0.x an advantage)
    LotusScript skills essential
     
  • Minimum 3 year development experience in Notes 8.5.X Designer environment
     
  • Skills in XPages, mobilising, LEI, Web Services and REST, and Intelliprint an advantage
     
  • Agile / iterative application system construction
     
  • Customer interaction skills in consulting, design, testing

Desirable:
 

  • CLP qualified
     
  • Degree Majoring in Information Technology from a recognised tertiary institution

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that deliverables are prioritised and completed within the specified timeframes
     
  • Management of the development lifecycle methodology
     
  • Compliance with Technical Architecture standards
     
  • Quality reviews
     
  • Configuration management strategy
    Compliance with system test strategy, system testing infrastructure and system release management
     
  • Preparation of associated documentation.

It is essential that you have a current driver’s licence, be able to pass a drug test and also a Police check before commencement of employment. The start date is ASAP.

Permanent Australian Visa or Australian citizenship required.
