Recruitment 24/7 has an immediate start for a Heavy Rigid Truck Driver in Ipswich.
The position will include working up to 12 hours a day Monday to Friday, in a heavy rigid truck to different locations around South East QLD. You will be responsible for driving, customer service and heavy labour.
To be successful in this position you MUST be physically strong as you are responsible for loading and unloading tyres in a safe and efficient manner by hand.
You must be able to work autonomously in a very physical role with preferably 5 years Truck Driving experience in Australia (due to insurance regulations). You will be required to complete insurance paperwork, disclosing any accidents and traffic infringements you have had. A 5 year printout of your driver history must also be supplied.
This position involves driving all over South East Qld on a daily basis.
MUST HAVES
Heavy Rigid Licence
2-5 years + experience driving Heavy Ridged Truck (preferred)
Be physically able to do Labour Intensive work all day (12 hour days)
Have a clean 5 year driving history and provide proof from QLD Transport
Good references from previous truck driving work
To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of a HR Licence, be physically fit and prepared to put in a hard day’s work, 5 days a week.
This is a Monday to Friday position, as a casual with the potential to go permanent with our client. You must be prepared to work between 10 – 12 hour days.
