Recruitment 24/7 currently has an opportunity with one of our clients based in Townsville for a Business Analyst to start ASAP.
The role of Business Analyst is a managerial position, reporting to the Queensland General Manager and responsible for the oversight of the financial and corporate services functions for their Queensland sites.
Primary responsibilities of the role include:
Oversight of the corporate systems of the business, including subcontractors, payroll, fixed assets and stock
End of Month processes, including progress claims, accruals, forecasting and analysis of results against budgets
Ongoing review and improvement of business systems, including recommendations to the General Manager
Development of costing models for new tenders
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Be degree qualified in Commerce or Business
Be “improvement-focussed” across all facets of the business
Have solid decision-making skills
Have detailed analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends
Be able to communicate, both written and oral, in a succinct and complete manner
Seek and accept responsibility
Have previous experience in a similar role
It is essential that the successful applicants must be computer literate and have considerable experience with Microsoft Excel, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics an advantage.
You will have a high attention to detail and deliver accurate work. A strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills are required as you must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
You will also possess a confident, pleasant manner and possess a pro-active and professional approach to your work.
You are required to deliver quality service and be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
