Recruitment 24/7 currently has a Full Time vacancy with one of our major clients for a Care Services Manager in the Brisbane area. This is a great opportunity to join the senior management team.

Suitable applicants will have an impeccable management background with evidence of extensive experience in overseeing the delivery of effective and efficient care to residents in accordance with contemporary professional standards, legislative requirements and commercial objectives across multiple locations.  This Aged Care Facility operates over 1,200 residential aged care beds throughout the South Eastern corner of Queensland from the Gold Coast through to Bundaberg.

Reporting to the Retirement and Aged Care Manager, the role will be responsible for the leadership and management of resident care, clinical governance, clinical policies, contemporary practices, care staffing models and skills mix.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Able to demonstrate high level success in managing clinical governance, risk and compliance within the aged care sector across multiple sites.
  • Evidence of experience in the development and monitoring of care staff KPIs, enhancement of clinical documentation and care systems, research and collaborative implementation of good practices and the creation of clinical assessment tools.
  • Experience in selecting, educating, mentoring, coaching and monitoring Clinical Managers to develop high quality services and valuable Team Members.
  • Experience in facilitating engaging workshops and team meetings to promote internal networking opportunities and good practice initiatives.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current AHPRA registration.

Knowledge Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • A working knowledge of the Aged Care Act and its application in the delivery of care services
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) documentation and processes
