Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy with one of our national clients for a newly developed role as a Clinical Educator.

Reporting to the General Manager for the region covering Nambour to Murwillumbah, the clinical Educator will partner with the leadership teams at each home to identify the learning needs of staff, develop or source relevant material and implement developmental training or facilitate educational sessions.  These positions are instrumental in ensuring the delivery of quality care for residents and the fostering of a learning culture within the homes.
 
The Clinical Educator will be accountable for:
  • Partnering with leadership teams at each home to identify training, education and development opportunities to support the delivery of quality care
  • Supporting staff in the implementation of education and training initiatives and programs
  • Utilising available data, assist the management team in the planning of learning and educations programs, as identified through risk data, to reduce the incidence of poor outcomes for residents
  • Regularly reporting to the General Manager on the progress of training and education programmes and provide recommendations for future initiatives
  • Providing support to the management team in implementing process or policy changes affecting care delivery and educational practices within the home
  • Participating in the implementation of clinical care software programs within the homes
  • Collaborating with the management team and quality support officer to ensure appropriate education is available and delivered effectively to address quality and compliance recommendations.
Clinical educators will need:
  • Degree qualifications in Nursing or equivalent
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
  • A thorough understanding of the aged care industry including regulations and funding
  • Experience designing, delivering & implementing education and training programs
  • Proven project management experience
  • High level computer literacy
  • Current Clear Driver’s License
The successful candidate will be required to submit to and pass a police check via our client’s security checking system.
