Recruitment 24/7 has an opportunity with one of their major clients for an experienced Facility & Village Manager (in the Aged Care industry) in Brisbane’s western suburbs.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all systems, procedures, protocols, practices and employees within the Aged Care Facility and Retirement Village. Your role will have a focus on adherence to the Aged Care Accreditation standards and Aged Care / Retirement Act Legislation. As Manager within the Aged Care Industry with more than 3 years’ experience you will have teams in the following areas reporting to you:
Administration
Nursing
Personal Care
Sales & Marketing
Environmental Services
Food Services
Maintenance
The following criteria must be met:
Experience as a Facility Manager of an Aged Care or Retirement Village Facility
Experience in the contribution to achieving financial budgets and performance benchmarks
Sound understanding of State & Commonwealth Legislation as it applies to Aged Care residents and Retirement Village.
Good understanding of Fair Work Australia
Experience in maximising productivity and the use of human resources
A caring and empathetic personality with a focus on delivering a holistic approach towards Aged Care
Intermediate Computer skills including MS Office & Electronic Rosters
Excellent management and communication skills
