Recruitment 24/7 currently has several vacancies for Forklift Drivers / Picker & Packers working with one of our clients based in the Loganlea region.
These are ongoing casual roles working eight hours most days from Monday to Friday either on day or afternoon shift. Start date for this position is ASAP!!
These positions requires you to perform a variety of duties from driving a Forklift to Picking and Packing various products including whitegoods.
It is essential that in order to be considered for these positions that the successful applicants must have had at least 2 years experience driving a Forklift. If you have used Clamp Attachment which is used to lift white goods it will be looked upon favourably.
I am however, prepared to look at applicants that would be confident enough to back their ability to be able to learn how to use the Forklift Clamp Attachment and be able to pass a driving test before commencement of employment.
These are very sought after positions that won’t last long so be fast to apply. The start date is ASAP.
The successful candidate must meet most of the following criteria:
Forklift Licence
Experience loading and unloading trucks and also containers
Exceptional organization skills
Be very proactive
Experience with a Forklift Clamp attachment used to lift white goods
Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse
Treat work place health and safety as a high priority
Be able to pass a pre medical including a Drug and Alcohol Test
Must have recent experience operating a forklift
It would also be highly beneficial for you to have a white card (general construction induction card) working in this type of environment.
