Recruitment 24/7 has an exciting opportunity for an entry level role in Precast Concrete Detail Drafting in Salisbury. This position is for an immediate start. After a successful qualifying period a permanent position may become available for the right person.
Our client is the leader in their industry and are looking to expand their team to help drive the growth of their business. Working in a team of 3, you will be responsible for assisting detailers to produce detailed precast drawings using information from architectural, structural and steel drawings provided by the client. You will issue drawings to production, assist detailers with technical issues and check precast drawings produced by others as requested. Reporting to the Drafting Manager, you will keep the State Manager and Production Team informed of potential information delays and other concerns. You will liaise with customers, engineers & architects to seek information and confirm requirements.

Completion of Year 12
Excellent organisational skills & Communication skills
Drawings skills on computers
Advanced computer skills
Sound Analytical Skills
Understanding and able to read and interpret Construction Drawings
Be self-motivated and disciplined
Strong work ethic
Good spatial awareness
Very high Attention to Detail
In addition, the following would be of an advantage
Building or Construction background
Experience with Autocad &/or Tekla computer program
Experience in identifying cost saving opportunities
Experience in production of detailed precast drawings
Certificate or Diploma in Drafting, Computer Drawing, or equivalent
