Recruitment 24/7 is working in partnership with one of Australia’s most reputable building product manufacturing companies based at Wacol.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, we are looking for an EXPERIENCED Production Co-ordinator that has at least 5 years experience working in a manufacturing facility. Applicants who have had exposure to Lean or Competitive Manufacturing will be highly regarded. This is a permanent role for the successful applicant.

The success of this role is dependent on the attitude and enthusiasm of the successful applicant. You will be a dynamic, engaging and hands on leader who is highly driven. The key to your success in this role will be attributed to your highly developed people leadership skills combined with your broad experience in an operations leadership role. 

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and results orientated person and be able to meet most of the following criteria:

Essential:

  • Trade Background – Mechanical/Electrical
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • Management Experience
  • Safety Experience
  • Own Transport
  • Lean Manufacturing/6S Experience

Recommended:

  • Electrical/Restricted Licence
  • Undergraduate with Trade

Some of the tasks in the role of Production Co-ordinator will consist of but not limited to the following:

  • Overseeing all aspects of production/maintenance
  • Assist in production planning
  • Contractor management
  • Hold weekly Toolbox briefs with all staff
  • Parts ordering
  • Staff management
  • Quality checks
  • Assist Plant Manager
  • Work within budget

It is essential that you have a current drivers licence and be able to pass a full medical including a drug test before commencement of employment with my client.
