Quality Controller

Recruitment 24/7 is currently seeking the services of a Quality Controller for one of our clients in the Dinmore area. You will be Responsible for performing inspections upon receiving and during processing in soft drink and juice sections as well as maintaining all calibration systems.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must Have a Licence and Reliable Transport.
• Good working knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety and Food Hygiene.
• Ability to work Shift Work essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel etc. overall intermediate computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Routine analysis of company beverage products and raw materials to ensure adherence to Company Specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections at all stages of production.
• Adjustment of Plant Equipment to ensure they perform their processes to satisfactorily comply with Company Standards.
• Alert Production Manager and Quality Assurance Manager to any potential Quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with the Calibration and Cleaning Schedules.
• Keeping and referring to written records of test results and actions based on those results.
• Check and improve Syrup batches as required.
• Ensure compliance to internal Quality procedures and HACCP standards.
• Ensure compliance with Customer and Legislative requirements.
• Ensure continual improvement through own and staff actions.
