Recruitment 24/7 currently has vacancies for Removals Offsiders / Warehouse Assistants working with one of our clients based in the Logan area.
These are ongoing casual roles working eight hours each day from Monday to Friday. These positions are genuine vacancies for an immediate start.
The successful candidates will have experience with removals, doing home delivery. They will be well presented and well-spoken with the ability to interact with customers.
Experience in transport, particularly line haul is preferred. It would be a major advantage if you had knowledge of load restraint, experience with securing loads, tie downs, and correct weight distribution.
In addition to the offsider duties, you will be required to perform general warehouse duties so it is a requirement that you possess a current forklift licence.
Additional experience that would be beneficial for the role would include:
RF Scanning
Picking and Packing
Manual Container Unloading
Loading and unloading trucks
Previous experience with a clamp attachment
All applicants must be able to pass a forklift driving test before commencement with our client.

Current Forklift Licence
Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol Test
Be able to pass a criminal history check
Have reliable transport
