Recruitment 24/7 working in partnership with one of our major clients based in Wacol, currently has vacancies for mechanically minded Trades Assistants. The start date is ASAP.
This is a Monday to Friday position working a 38 hr week, both day and afternoon shifts are available. The work is ongoing for the right candidates.
To be considered for the above position, the successful applicants must be fit, healthy and agile, have great attention to detail and be very careful as they will be working on brand new vehicles installing anything from bull bars, bump bars, indicators and other accessories.
This position would be perfect for a person that has a passion for working on cars or trucks and who is mechanically minded. Being able to use a variety of tools will determine how successful you will be in the position.
You must have had previous experience in a similar role, your own transport and some tools to work with. Having either a Forklift or HR Truck Licence would be a major advantage, however not necessary. A certificate 3 in Mechanics would be highly regarded. Spray Painting and Panel Beating experience would be beneficial.
It is essential that you must have own transport and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test before starting employment. The pay rate is $25.26 hr for normal time hours worked. It is a requirement for this role that all successful applicants MUST pass a criminal history check.
