Recruitment 24/7 has an exciting opportunity for experienced and driven Electrical Supervisor to join one of our major clients’ based in the Brisbane Metropolitan area.

You will be responsible for supervising operations in a very large area covering the South East Region of Queensland.

For the successful applicant (depending on experience and skills) on offer is a very generous base salary, plus a company vehicle, mobile phone, super and more importantly the opportunity to Supervise an already successful and results driven team of workers.
 
In this Supervisor role, you will be responsible for leading, directing, supporting and supervising the team of technical staff, ensuring the safe, effective and efficient utilisation of all field based personnel, equipment and machinery involved in the delivery of client services. 
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that the successful applicant have either an Electrical Engineering or Electrical Fitter Mechanic background. It is desirable that they have worked in similar Supervisory roles in previous employment.
 
This role offers a diverse range of duties and responsibilities and as a result it is essential that the successful applicant must have a strong personality, be a natural Leader, results driven to get things done and have the ability to find solutions and answers at all times.
 
The Supervisor position has the following key areas of responsibility (to name a few):
  • Ensuring the delivery of crew targets whilst maintaining client service standards
  • Actively seek areas for improved crew efficiencies
  • Ensuring utilisation of all labour under his/her control efficiently and the minimise unproductive man – hours
  • Coordination of field crew leave, monitoring and reporting efficiently to minimise unproductive man – hours
  • Ensuring that the collection of company documentation from work crews
  • Ensuring accurate completion of Work Orders by field teams before submission.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness for the completion of company documentation e.g. Incident, Injury, Process Audits etc.
  • Resolve customer complaints in conjunction with the WH&S, Quality & Training Manager & Operations Manager, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness for the completion of client.
  • Ensuring all instructions, safety initiatives, directives and information are communicated to staff accurately and efficiently.
  • Accurate recording and reporting of all instructions, safety initiatives, directives and information communicated to staff.
  • Promoting the company and can do attitude to all field staff as well as providing a mentoring role to all field crews
An understanding of a power distribution business or electrical supply network will be well regarded.

It is essential that the successful applicant is computer literate. You all must have a high attention to detail and deliver accurate work. A strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills are required as you all must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
 
The applicant must also possess a confident, pleasant manner and have a pro-active and professional approach to your work as well as being committed to meeting deadlines.
 
It is essential that you have a current drivers licence and be able to pass a drug test before commencement of employment as well as randomly throughout employment with our client.
