Recruitment 24/7 is seeking an experienced, reliable and physically fit Truck Driver who has 2-5 years HR Local Driving Experience within the Brisbane and Southern Suburbs area.
This position is not for the weak hearted, it is not the normal Truck Driving job as you will need to be physically very fit and able to load and unload the truck BY HAND with heavy goods.
The ROLE
You will begin your day at the depot where you pick up the HR truck and head off alone to multiple sites to pick up goods, ALL BY HAND. Items weight average 10 – 15kg each, some may be over 20kg and are an awkward lift at times.
When your truck is full you will return to the depot and unload the truck BY HAND then head out to do more pickups.
You must be able to work autonomously in a very physical role with preferably 5 years Truck Driving experience in Australia (due to insurance regulations). You will be required to complete insurance paperwork, disclosing any accidents and traffic infringements you have had. A 5 year printout of your driver history must also be supplied.
This position involves driving all over South East Qld on a daily basis.
MUST HAVES
HR Licence
2-5 years + experience driving Heavy Ridged Truck (preferred)
Be physically able to do Labour Intensive work all day (12 hour days)
Have a clean 5 year driving history and provide proof from QLD Transport
Good references from previous truck driving work
To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of a HR Licence, be physically fit and prepared to put in a hard day’s work, 5 days a week.
This is a Monday to Friday position, as a casual with the potential to go permanent with our client. You must be prepared to work between 10 – 12 hour days.
