Recruitment 24/7 has a current vacancy for one of their clients based in the Ipswich region. Working directly with the owner of the business, you will be responsible for general servicing and repairs of all makes and model passenger cars and 4WD’s. The clientele are professional and expect the workmanship to be of a very high level including the customer service.
Working days are Monday to Friday with an early knock off on Fridays and absolutely no weekend work. The position will begin as Full Time Casual @ $30 per hour plus penalties; however the expectation is for this person to be offered a Permanent role and an attractive package to be offered.
The person we are looking for must be a very hard worker who can work with a manager who will monitor and check your work on a regular basis until you have proven your skill and ability.
To be considered for this opportunity you MUST have:
Certificate 3 in Automotive Light Vehicle Mechanic
Hold Manual Drivers Licence
Police Clearance or willing to get one & able to pass it
Able to pass regular Drug & Alcohol tests
Be honest and reliable
Provide 2 work references

In addition to the above it would be advantageous if you have your Road Worthy Certification and experience with Diesel engines.
