As a result of this we currently have a vacancy for an Experienced Project Manager that has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).You must enjoy taking a hand’s on approach to manage your projects. This is a permanent fulltime position, so if you are after job security in this current economic climate, this position may be what you have been looking for.
Below is a list of some of the required duties for the above mentioned role:
Undertaking daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly project planning with foreman and subcontractors
Be responsible for the WHS & E of sites
Defining, authorising and assigning project roles and their responsibilities
Establishing and maintaining the project management plane and monitoring the projects performance measures
Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the project against budget and company objectives
Organising and coordinating subcontractors, back charges variations and progress certificates
Reviewing and approving expenditure on safety equipment and other items
Ensuring that project resources are adequate and appropriate to meet contracts
Estimating and be prepared to be involved in Tendering for new projects
You will need previous leadership and project management experience in the construction of Commercial and Industrial buildings, educational facilities, religious (churches) and community (council) buildings, hospitality and civil/concrete structures
It is essential that you have a current drivers licence and be able to pass a drug test before commencement of employment as well as throughout your employment with our client.
My client is prepared to negotiate a remuneration package (dependent on experience) with the successful applicants as they are only after the best people available to join their already successful team.
