Recruitment 24/7 has an industrial cleaner position available for one lucky person with a client based in Ipswich for an afternoon shift, with full time hours.
Our client is looking for an experienced, reliable industrial cleaner to clean and sanitise the equipment, machinery and facilities in the Boning Room. In this role, you will be the responsible for all cleaning duties, so it is important that you have previous experience working in the meat industry as a cleaner and also have experience cleaning offices.
Duties will include but not be limited to, emptying and replacing waste bins that contain raw meats, emptying cardboard bins, washing of the boning room, cleaning and sanitising of factory floors and benches, office cleaning and washing of trucks.
The role will include some heavy lifting, so it is important that the successful candidate is physically healthy and fit.
Working on an afternoon shift, you will be starting at 1pm and working a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday with the view to go Permanent after the probationary period is completed.
The successful applicant must:
Be able to work around raw meats
Be able to do regular heavy lifting
Have knowledge and understanding of chemical handling and usage
Able to work unsupervised
Have an eye for detail
Be physically fit and well presented
Able to work afternoon shift
Have good communication skills and personal hygiene
